HOT FUZZ EDITING ANALYSIS- 1ST SEQUENCE

Today in Lyn's class we did some editing analysis of the movie Hot Fuzz. I decided to choose the first sequence which starts of with a very western look. Then I analysed the different shots and angles of the characters included.

Birmingham School of Media (open day)

Today was a very exciting day for me! I woke up bright and early, got myself and the girls ready to leave the house. Took the girls to Tina's house, and off I went to Birmingham City University for open day! I was just blown away by nearly everything, from the professors to the facilities and even by the café. Deep in the pit of my heart, there was a stillness, a calmness and I felt like I was finally at peace and face to face with what I am destined to do, who I am destined to become. Every other part of me felt extremely overwhelmed, as there's no better feeling than doing what you love and loving what you do. Although I have to finish my course in Create Media Production in college first, I'm happy to have been a part of today's experience to see what the future holds for me. This experience today will give me a bigger push towards doing better in my school, work and in life in general. Birmingham School of Media, here I come!

falling apart....rising together

I call this piece "Falling Apart"📷🌎💔😳 I took it for a class project today. This was in the Custard Factory. I don't know the story behind this... but when I look at it, it reminds me of how humanity is going down a few spirals. We are all falling individually and all falling as in groups. If only we could embrace ourselves and each other, and understand that we are all a part of a story to be told, just different narrators. If we unite and have genuine love for life, we could never fall❤

Taking photos

Sept 25,

Today Lyn taught us about taking photos and how to use the angles when taking photos. Nuria and i partnered to take a few photos and video around the school and the custard factory. It went really well, i loved it especially because the sun was shining nice and bright.

Sometimes we feel alone and little when the walls start closing in.

                                   We feel like theres no way out of our current state.

Everything around us seems like a puzzle and a maze, just bits and bobs jumbled all together and we cant make sense of anything.

like the world is falling down on us.

The Best thing to do is to always look to the light, look for a way out

What we need to remember is that we are powerful human beings and we can do anything we put our minds to. 

                                 When we feel trapped and at risk, we need to fight back.
                                  Understand that the negative emotions are all illusions.

Find a friend to talk to, they are usually the ones to tell us what we already think

Have patience, you can sit patiently and wait

or you can stand on the edge, waiting to be seen

And when everything is coming down be ready to catch them! 

Its better to always be happy and ready for selfie time!
